Preface written expressly for this edition by the Rev. Charles Constantine Pise, D. D. Adorned with elegant engravings. To which is added "The Acts of the Apostles" rendered into blank verse, with copious notes by Rev. Pise.; Full leather hardcover with 5 raised bands on spine. Gilt engravings on boards and spine. All 3 edges gilt. Rubbing on boards, some wear on corners and edges. Ex-libris sticker inside front board, name of previous owner on first page. Some water staining on edges of first 6 pages (3 flyleaf pages, 2 plates pages and 1 tissue paper page.) and last 2 flyleaf pages. The 3rd front flyleaf also has some tears and holes. Most tissue paper protectors are still present. Minor spotting of paper. Book is solid and clean. Good condition. (2.1kg). Full-Leather. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
