Some pages show traces of wear from reading, but are otherwise unmarked and clean. Overall, a lovely book. This will be perfect for sharing with a young lover of horses, and can become the start of a collection of horse books. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.

Dustjacket has a few chips, soiled. rubbed along edges. Small white rubbed spot about 3/4" dia top RH corner - does not affect cover illustration. Price-clipped. Front of dustjacket is a head sketch of Seabiscuit. 87 pages with short essays on the following horses: Fair Play, Man O'War, War Admiral, Blockade, and Battleship; Dark Secret, Troublemaker, Ugly, Seabiscuit, and Tom Fool; Exterminator, Heatherbloom.
