UK: F. Warne & Co, 1905 Published in 1905, with the date to the front of the Title Page, this is a rare First Edition published by F. Warne & Co. The original publisher’s green boards with colour pictorial label. Front board has light wear with more wear and slight staining to the back board. Lacks spine causing the boards and binding to be weak. The book measures 4.25 x 5.75 inches (approx). There is no inscription. There are 81 printed pages are in overall Very Good condition with age toning to the endpapers and wear to the edges of the pages. A lovely example of this early Beatrix Potter first edition children's illustrated book from the author and illustrator of Peter Rabbit. First Edition. Illus. by Beatrix Potter.
