Book summary

Since she was 9 years old, Jamie Tessman has had only one friend: a boy named Webb. Now 11, Jamie faces her first extended separation from Webb when he goes on a backpacking trip through Europe and she travels to Chicago with her mother. Missing Webb desperately, Jamie begins spending more and more time in a fantasy world that seems very real to her--a world where she is with Webb. Will Jamie's fantasy life put her in danger?
