Gen. Washburn was the founder of the company that was to become General Mills Corp. Postal cancellation on back of last page, as letter was originally folded into thirds for mailing without an envelope. Also included is a 1940's picture-postcard of the troop-ship- "USNS Gen. M. C. Meigs", and other up-to-date biographical clippings pertaining to Meigs and Washburn.. Signed by Author. Near Fine. Illus. by Illustrated. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. |
