Book description: London, 1873. Folding engraved map, coloured in outline, dissected into 12 sections (14 ins x 27 ins when extended), and mounted on linen with marbled endpapers. Undated, but publisher's address given as 457 West Strand, which I believe dates it as post-1860 and probably early 1870's. Interior has rubbing marks from usage but no serious stains etc. Linen is crisp but discoloured here and there from handling. Marbled endpapers bright but have some chips to corners, plus marked with crosses in ink, as are two of the linen panels, presumably to aid correct refolding. No slipcase. Please ask for scans.
