Previous owner's name inside front. Covers greatly worn, with bumped and badly frayed corners. Old faded moisture staining to bottom third of pages. Lengthy inscription, covering the entire page, on back loose endpaper (very interesting religious verses dedicated to the child receiving the book as a prize for Sunday-school attendance). Otherwise, pages are fairly clean and sound for the age of the book.. Probable First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No Jacket as Issued. Illus. by Illustrated. 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.
