Black buckram boards with gold lettering and wreath on front, gilt on top of pages, G-, tears and edgewear on top of spine, couple of small water spots on front and top outside pages, very light corner wear, prior owner's name on top title page, otherwise, G. boards : Common term for the covers of a hardbound book.

buckram : A cloth made of cotton or linen which is used to cover a book.
