Book summary

Gordon Nash is a part-time lawyer whose wife leaves both him and his young son Calvin. Gordon and Calvin move to a small Kansas town, where Calvin dreams of owning a horse, and where Gordon tries to connect with Calvin in ways that his own father, a college basketball coach, never could.
