A Little Book of Pussy Cats was published by The Little Folks Library (not dated) in 1908.____A Little Book of Pussy Cats measures 4.25 x 6.75 inches (approx) and has its original red boards with an illustration to the top of the front board of a white rabbit and boy sitting and reading a book.____The boards are in Very Good condition. The front board is very crisp and clean, with the plain back board being very clean except for a small white mark and other darker marks; and the spine is complete with a small tear to the top and with fading. This is a very attractive set of boards for this very rare old Louis Wain book.____There are 88 numbered pages which are packed full of humerous verses. Some minor spotting to a few pages but generally a clean and bright copy in the publishers highly decorative green cloth binding with bevelled edged boards. Elaborate gilt and blind stamped decoration and lettering to the front board. The rear board with a blind stamped decorative panel pattern. Spine fully decorated and lettered in gilt. Off white endpapers. All edges gilt. Some bumping to the extremities and the spine a little dulled but overall a very good copy of this pretty book. A classic piece of decorative Victoriana.

Full colour illustrated onlay to the front board and green line border, decoration and lettering. Blue cloth spine lettered in dark blue. Aside from some darkening to the plain spine and minor rubbing to the extremities this is a very good copy. The book is undated but the British Library catalogue gives the publication date as 1915.
