A very good view of the Raj in South Asia during these years. Lt-Col O'Connor served mostly as a political officer beyond the frontiers - Gilgit, then Lhasa with Younghusband, Syantse, Seisten, Shiraz, Bushire and Katmandu. He knew the territory after 23 years in Tibet, Nepal and Persia. Rare. A nice copy with some edgewear. Inside, clean and tight with no foxing or browning. . First Edition. Cloth.
