Very good condition throughout with some very minor rubbing and toning to the edges but still all clean and sound. The set has been very well looked after. Started by Vale with $100 from Lawrence Ferlinghetti and the same amount from Allen Ginsberg, Search & Destroy was a hugely influential recorder of the early Punk scene in America, while also reporting on and interviewing the bands making a name for themselves on the British scene, including Iggy Pop, Blondie, Dead Kennedys, X, Devo, The Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, Sham 69, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Buzzcocks and an article on Vivienne Westwood. Complete sets of the original publications are uncommon.

Ford, of full brown calf. Spine decorated with gilt bands and piping and floral centre pieces in the compartments. Black label, gilt. Both boards with decorative border design in gilt and small black labels within a decorative design, lettered "T. F. F. 1943". Inner dentelles in gilt. Plain magnolia endpapers. Top edge gilt. A small neat ink note inside the rear cover states that the book was 'rebound by T F Ford 1943' and a neat five line inscription on the front free end-paper shows that the book was bound by Thomas F Ford, Architect and presented by his sons to Canon L B Tirrell on his retirement in November 1971. ---- 'Thomas Francis Ford. Lupus Music. 1969. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (8.7 x 5.6 inches). A very good, bright copy in the pictorial boards which show a black and white photo portrait of Bolan. Front board and spine lettered in white. In the original dustwrapper which reproduces the boards. Just a hint of rubbing to the extremities of the boards and some creases to the edges of the wrapper but overall a very good copy throughout.
