Both in full red leather, five raised bands, gilt lettering, two silk ribbons bound into both, exceptional dentelles work, marbled endpages, all edges in bright gilt. 12mo. 291pp; 254pp. Illus. (b/w plates). Bindings of both volumes by Charles E. Lauriat. Noted damage nothwithstanding, a lovely set in hand.
