Book summaryThe mysterious writer of the wildly successful--and morbidly funny--children's books about three orphans intrigued by Schopenhauer and death alike, receives biographical treatment in this "unauthorized" look at Lemony Snicket. Who is the eccentric person behind A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS and other books? Find out, if you dare. Text accompanied by photographs and other illustrations. Media reviews"Sure, the whole thing is a bit of a vanity project, a bizarre exercise in style and trickery, but it will whet the appetites of fans as they wait for the ninth book. Newcomers, though, should start with THE BAD BEGINNING." |
