Book Description
225 pages, 10 x 10. Fully illustrated with 73 colorplates, 56 black and white illustrations. Chronology compiled from letters, etc. Published in conjunction with a retrospective exhibition at The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Haseltine painted some of the handsomest landscapes produced by an American artist during the second halfof the 19th-century, the heyday of the Hudson River school and the luminists.
