The author challenges the preacher to develop "that special sparkle" of creativity that makes every message a new and meaningful experience, week after week. Most important, says Father Jabusch, is that a preacher truly care about his people. He should do this not only when they are within the church building but also when they are immersed in their daily lives, in the world.

For many years, Father Jabusch was professor of preaching at Mundelein Seminary of the University of St. Mary of the Lake, within the Archdiocese of Chicago. He has published many books and articles on preaching, the same area of study in which he earned his Ph.D. at Northwestern University.

However, with the explicit approval of ACP\'s Manager, we may accept returns on regular book orders, within 30 days of the placement of the order, at the sole discretion of ACP, without condition or warranty of any kind.

As is customary with most bookstores, acceptable refunds apply, not to shipping and handling expenses, but only to the purchase price of the book itself. In general, with such refunds, a restocking fee will be applied, to cover the costs involved, as is also customary with bookstores. A Catholic publisher in San Francisco says, \"Items are not sold on approval. No returns or exchanges except for damaged or defective products. Problems must be noted within 30 days of receipt of product. Shipping costs will not be refunded.\"

A Catholic publisher in New Jersey says that refunds are granted for products that are damaged in transit or defective in nature. \"No return will be accepted unless it has been approved previously by phone and assigned a return material authorization number.\"

The policy of ACP is much the same as these and other major Catholic publishers.
