The original 'Legacy' was about Greek culture whereas this version is about its meaning in the history of European culture. There are 15 chapters covering many areas including 'Lyric and Other Poetry'; 'Philosophy'; 'Myth'; 'Greek Culture and the Jews'; ' Greek Philosophy and Christianity'; and 'Architecture and City Planning'. Feint stain to top page edges also visible on rear end papers and inside of dust-jacket. Dust-jacket is price-clipped and has minor rubbing and chipping to corners, top/bottom of spine and some edges - all repaired with archival tape; jacket is in loose protective cover. Overall a Very Good copy in a Good++ dust-jacket. .
