It comprises two volumes: 1) the "Catalog of United States Census Publications, 1790-1945" (prepared by Henry J. Dubester, 1950) which lists all materials issued by the Bureau of the Census and its predecessor organizations starting with the first census report of 1790, and 2) the "Bureau of the Census Catalog of Publications, 1946-1972," which updates the historical compilation and describes more than 60,000 reports issued by the Bureau beween January 1946 and December 1972. CONDITION: Very light overall shelving wear; lower corners of three pages creased with associated small, closed tears. OVERSIZED.. First Thus. Hardcover.
