Bordeaux, France with marbled boards and leather/ gilt spines. Round stamps to title pages otherwise no indication of institution ownership. Very light foxing, mainly to page edges, some worming to pages and spines. Originally produced with 29 copper engravings, [9, 9, 11, 7], these were not included with the sheets when bound. A poor copy of volume 1 with the 9 engravings can be included if desired. . 2nd. Good.
