BOOK: Binding is held only by the webbing on the spine, 4cm loss to spine head & 1.5cm loss to spine heel, the boards are soiled & abraded with s ome fraying to edges, though front board titles & illustration are still clear, ink name/date (28/12/06) on FFEP, there are pencil annotations in the text indicating that this was a working copy. Loos ely inserted is a copy of 'Brown's Track Chart of the World' Compiled by Caprain James Tait. The map itself is not dated, but there is a previous owner name & date (28/12/06) on the top left corner. This map has been used to plot the course of the 'Total Eclipse of May 19, 1928' with pen & pencil annotations to this effect. The map is intact with three tears and some edgewear & browning. Also inserted is a tatty issue of 'Journal of Concise Information on the Total Solar Eclipse 1940' with annotations indicating use. Scan of covers on request..
