First edition, probable first printing, with no signs of type wear at the three points in the text cited by Bruccoli (the first three printings are not formally distinguished). Neat, April 1926 gift inscription on free endsheet, small bookseller's ticket at corner of free endsheet, otherwise a fine, bright copy, in very good, slightly spine darkened dust jacket with shallow fraying at crown of spine, slight cracking toward toe of upper fold, and a minor spot. The flapper's lips on the front panel of the dust jacket show signs of batter. Half morocco folding case. BRUCCOLI A12.I.
