Pickering, Ontario: Global Publishing Company / Streamline Books, 1947, 1st (and only) Edition, 1st Printing, 1947. -----------paperback, a Fair to Good copy only, overall wear and rubbing, a bit of very shallow chipping, browning to paper, some corners of some pages are turned, rare, movie tie-in edition to the Canadian movie Whispering City which was released as Crime City in the USA, Horace Brown was not a prolific author and later served 12 years as a city councillor in Toronto, there are only a handful of copies known with NO COPIES listed in WORLDCAT (The National Library of Canada does NOT have a copy either !), a very rare piece of Canadian publishing as this is only one of three publications by Global / Streamline -a company which was started by Horace Brown, the only copy I have ever seen and I can safely say, will likely ever see, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo. First Edition. Soft Cover. Good. Illus. by Uncredited Cover Art.
