Book desription: Square quarto, 72 pp. bound in rust-colored wraps with illustration on cover and title in Japanese on spine; in fact, except for the title on the cover and a two-page essay in the back, the book is entirely in Japanese. Classy reference work, with beautiful antique chests presented in all their variety and with some nice close-up details. The photographic reproductions are superb. Running alongside the photos are reproductions of Japanese drawings illustrating the chests being used in daily life. Near fine (attractive distributor sticker on front cover).
