Book desription: Coward McCann, NY, 1951. First edition. Funny tale of a prankster rabbit with some interesting illustrations. Book is Near Fine with slight wear to corners and spine tips but with very bright red covers and spine. Miraculously preserved thanks to the dust jacket, which i s VG (a few closed tears and a 3/4" piece missing from the back panel). That the dust jacket has been preserved is also something of a miracle, as it has a 2" cutout on the front panel, allowing the rabbit on the book's cover to peep through, but a lso making it much more fragile (one closed tear emanates from the cutout border). Front panel of dj has a crease along fore edge. Small elf sticker attached to front endpaper. Nice little production!
