The essays were taken mostly from a publication called The Eastern Buddhist, and include four previously unpublished essays written by D.T. Suzuki near the end of his life. As the editor says, the volume is an anthology of "significant but unavailable writings of the Kyoto School." The book has been slightly underlined and there are a few scholarly annotations. Scarce material. Near fine in blue textured cloth boards in turquoise & gold dust jacket in VG+ condition (light wear along top & bottom edge, 1" closed tear on front cover near spine).
