New York: The Ullman Mfg. Co., 1908 The book is oblong being 6 1/4" wide by 4 3/4" high. The glossy book cover is colorfully illustrated with African American children eating a slice of watermellon. The front is outlined in blue with yellow background. The book has rubs along edges and chipping along the spine; the front hinge is cracked but holding. The title has an upper corner that was mis-cut at publication. Wonderful colored illustrations. Copies of this book are very rare. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
