Dark green/black cloth with light green lettering on spine and front board. Corners are bumped and the spine is quite faded. Page 118/119 have a marginal tear on the bottom edge not affecting any text. 21 delightful drawings by Chesterton done in a wistful grey. Stated as first published in July, 1926 with no additional printings noted and precedes the American first by Harper's, also in 1926. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .
