This book is a photographic record of a series of commissioned pieces (Crystal gate, Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon, Atlantis chandelier) that Chihuly executed in the late 1990s. The photos show the works in their finished locations, the concept drawings and the process of their making by glass artisans. There is a chronology of the artust's life and works. The book was designed by Werkhaus Seattle and issued in an unnumbered first edition of 10000 copies. SIGNED BY ARTIST boldly to the first blank page. Very slight shifting of cover cloth colour mostly at the edges of the cover where unprotected from the sun. NFine; no Dj as issued. (3.3 lbs FO 63/5. Signed by Author. Stated First Edition.
