The book is old but it is a wonderful reference for a specialist in the material covered. There is extensive coverage of 19th Century U.S. cancellations, Brazil cancellations. plate varieties of Denmark 1875-1885, Germany airmail stamps,, Germany locals, Germany Channel Islands, Honduras official overprints and surcharges, Romania early issues, Romania Principality including plate varieties and a listing of forged cancellations on early Romanian stamps. In the last section there is an extensive philatelic dictionary, bi-lingual in English and German. The book is not in great condition and the values are, of course, dated, but the reference material is outstanding. 208 pp. including the philatelic dictionary.. Hard Cover.
