Dublin:: Browne & Nolan,, 1867.. First edition. Small 4to. (8 x 6.25 inches). Unpaginated. 12 original richly-toned albumen photographs, each with one page of description. Original green cloth, gilt decorated to upper board and blind-stamped to rear board. A.e.g. Contemporary gift inscription in ink to front free endpaper. A few fingermarks to some plate margins. Otherwise an exceptionally firm and bright copy. Gernsheim 381, but the title page is plainly printed and not the decorated title illustrated by Gernsheim (on p.57) for his reference 381. The photographs in this edition are different from the 15 images in another publication of the same year - see Gernsheim 382.
