A beautifully bound set of three of Seeley & Company's finest monographs issued in 1895 and bound together with creme vellum over floral marbled boards with authors and titles on spine with separate red morooco labels. Armorial Book plate and signature of Arhur Bond on ffep. A very good copy with some wear on and some foxing. Front panels floral papers inside doubled ruled vellum spine. An important item for both the Seeley monographs and the lovely binding as conceived and completed by Frederic Chiver, the fine bookbinder of Bath, at the beginning of the 20th Century..
