Book desription: Amerpub Company, 1952. 14 out of the first 53 pages have heavy underlining and/or markings in pencil (two of those pages are charts). There are no corner creases but a few pages have a small crease-like lump in the gutter (these are printing flaws rather than signs of use). The outer page edges have yellowed and darkened. A few pages have one or more drop-sized reddish spots in the margin or at the corner, and one page has yellowed quite a bit as a result of a newspaper clipping that was kept in the book. The pages at the back have a large half-circle-shaped white mark and a somewhat rough texture in the bottom margin (a coffee cup may have sat on those pages). The jacket is covered in smudges and rust-colored stains, it has many small tears and chips, and the front flap is price-clipped. It is now covered with a plastic jacket protector. The book leans to the right a little, but the binding is strong. Clearly, the book has been studied and enjoyed often over the past 55 years (in all honesty, the exterior looks worse than the interior).. First Printing. Hardcover.
