The plays are as follows: Sylvanire, published 1631 chez Francois Targa with 5 engravings by Michel Lasne (identical to copy described in Tchemerzine - Tome 7 but 1631 instead of 1632). Les Galanteries, published 1636 chez Pierre Rocolet (Tchemerzine - Tome 7 ). Le Grand et Dernier Solyman (Tchemerzine - Tome 7), published 1639 chez Augustin Courbe. Athenais (Tchemerzine - Tome 7), published 1641 chez Jonas de Brequigny. Five engravings by Lasne including the frontispiece. Brebiette frontispiece engraving for Athenais. Quarter leather, raised bands on spine, marbled boards. Corners extremely bumped, some wear to hinges. Plays were not originally bound together, binding is from the 19th century. Save for a few tears, largely repaired with japanese paper, pages are in very good condition, high rag content, with no real foxing or fading. Silvanire: page 132 has tear that has been partially repaired; 173 looks like it has been torn out and replaced with japanese paper - 176, same. Tear on page 47 of Duc D'ossonne.
