Book summaryMoving his Wild West show to the East--Japan, specifically--is proving to be a bit of a challenge for Buffalo Bill. The fact that he has been decapitated and is having trouble adjusting to his new, mechanical body is only one of his problems. Media reviews"...ZEPPELINS WEST is funny, off-the-wall, and erudite. It is also wild and wacky. If you are looking for a serious character study look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a way to fill a rainy afternoon, ZEPPELINS WEST is about as much fun as one person can have by themselves between two covers." |
Zeppelins Westby Lansdale, Joe R, Illustrated by Nelson, Mark AArtist's Edition
Book description: 2001, 2001. Traycased Hard Cover. New/No Jacket As Issued. Artist's Edition. Signed by Author and Illustrator. Oversized. This state of Zeppelins West was bound at the direction of Camelot Books, in cooperation with the Publisher, Subterranean Press, the Author and the Artist. - Our goal in this project was to create a very limited unique state of this book and we think we have accomplished that. The book was not meant to be put on a shelf, but rather to be displayed on an easel or on a table. - The two books in the traycase each contain a unique signature page and piece of art unique to this edition. - The signature page on the first book, the text of the story, is hand colored by the artist and is truly one of a kind. - The second book contains the afterword and comic book proposal. - The artwork matted into the traycase is a piece of the original art from the publication and is one of a kind. - There were 13 copies of this edition produced, lettered A through M, along with one binding copy (marked as such), which does not contain original art. - This is Letter C and it does have slight bumps to the traycase on the left-hand side.. ISBN: 193108100X. Signed by Author and Illustrator. Artist's Edition. Traycased Hard Cover. New/No Jacket As Issued. Illus. by Nelson, Mark A.. Oversized.
Bookseller Terms of SaleSHIPPING REGARDLESS OF ANY SET SHIPPING FEE LISTED THROUGH BIBLIO, THE FOLLOWING IS ARE SHIPPING POLICY We generally ship via UPS, if we are shipping via UPS we will use the following flat rate shipping charges: $7.00 for the first book and $1.50 per book thereafter to the 48 states. We were starting to ship via USPS as for some smaller less expensive shipments as they are cheaper (for $4.00 we were able to ship a small book with delivery confirmation and insured), but due to the increase in USPS shipping and insurance charges going into effect 7 January, 2001, we will be forced to increase shipping charges for even small packages. If you want us to ship via USPS, shipping charges will be actual charges plus $1.00 for handling (we are shipping so many packages that the cost of boxes, foam, and tape is just getting out of hand, a box alone cost more then $1.00, plus the time we spend in line at the post office is getting rediculous especially considering UPS picks up here every day). Just as an example of recent increases, a 2 pound package going via Priority Mail insured for $40.00 (this is an average book) now costs $5.40 just for postage, so your looking at $6.40, UPS is slower but in the long run cheaper for everyone. The choice is yours, we will be going to the Post Office twice a week now instead of every day, Wednesday at 10:00 am and Friday at 5:00 pm. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS Please inquire, we charge actual shipping and insurance charges plus a $2.00 handling charge. Please do not ask us to mark the custom's documents "gift" or declare an amount less than the insured amount. INSURANCE All shipping charges will include apropriate insurance. We do not ship books uninsured, please do not ask us to. RETURNS If your not happy with your purchase please let us know, we will except returns for three days after your receipt of the purchase, with prior authorization from us (so we know what is suppose to be on the way to us). All returns must be shipped insured and returned in the same condition as it was when sent by us, unless the book is not as described you are responsible for all shipping and insurance charges. |
