Book summary

A popular syndicated conservative columnist and National Review writer, Mona Charen explains why she feels that the agenda of the liberals is just plain wrong when they attempt to help those less fortunate than themselves. Crying hypocrisy and self-interest, she claims that liberals, for example, routinely send their children to private schools while trying to prevent poor children from attending them through the voucher system, and that affirmative action programs do minorities much more harm than good. And--needless to say--Charen names names, directing her venom at such arch-liberals as John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Michael Moore, Jesse Jackson, and Marian Wright Edelman.
