The sticker was not applied to a totally flat page so the fly leaf is now slightly crinkled. Now this is where the book gets interesting. This previous owner was Alan Dobie the actor who played Atticus Finch in the stage play in 1978. A copy of a letter included from Mr Dobie confirms Harper Lee gave him the book on the first night in London; England. A copy of the play's poster is also included. On the title page is written ""best wishes Harper Lee"". A nice solid copy with an uncommon signature. : JACKET: Slightly chipped and worn at edges; creasing to spine. Some spotting and creasing to flaps. Front and rear images look nice under plastic cover.. Not price-clipped. . Now protected by non-adhesive clear plastic cover.
