In March of 1999 Trinity College named its history lounge ' The Professor Jim Williams History Study." Inside of book is handwritten 'E. W. Worthington Trinity College July 1873'. There is also a name written in pencil in the back of the book. Maroon cloth, embossed detailing on front and back cover. Gilt embossed title "Prof. Jim" on spine. Binding tight, spine faded and chipped. First signature starting. 79 pages, frontispiece portrait of James Williams. Story: Williams had been a slave in N.Y. state.
