Book description: Chicago, IL, U.S.A.: Reilly & Lee, 1920. "Glinda of Oz, In which are related the Exciting Experiences of Princess Ozma of Oz, and Dorothy, in their hazardous journey to the home of the Flatheads, and to the Magic Isle of the Skeezers, and how they were rescued from dire peril by the sorcery of Glinda the Good -- by L. Frank Baum, Royal Historian of Oz". This is a later printing Baum's final Oz book, one of two published posthumously. It is in a gray, possibly olive cloth binding. It is not a true first, as it lacks the 7 full color illustrations present in that original edition. It does have many beautiful black and white line drawings. I would date this somewhere in the 1920's-1930's - though cannot attest to the specific year. The binding is dirty, and the full color pastedown on the front cover has faded but is still clear and unmarred. The front hinge is very slightly loose, but not at all cracked. The binding is tight and overall in very good condition. The pages are clean. . Later Printing. Cloth. Very Good. Illus. by Jon R. Neill. Collectible.
