DescriptionLondon: A & C Black Ltd., 1905 x + 260pp + 60 color plates. top edge gilt. 3/4" long split at the bottom rear of the cloth spine, otherwise the binding is near fine with bright black and gold decoration on the front cover. There is a long inscription on the front free endpaper, but the contents are otherwise very fine. The scarce dust jacket has an irregular piece missing from the base of the spine, partially obscuring the publisher's name, and other lesser chips, as well as a closed tear across the lower third of the spine with residual tape marks from an early repair. A very good copy in a good dust jacket.. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/Good Dust Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
