Book summary

When a top detective from the LAPD's anti-terrorist division is shot dead by his pregnant wife, homicide detective Fey Croaker is ordered to wrap up the case as quickly as possible. Fey starts to wonder why the chief of police is so anxious to get the case closed, and does a bit of behind the scenes sleuthing. What she finds may put her and her entire homicide team in mortal danger.
