Bound in black cloth stamped with Christogram IHC on front board, gilt lettering (faded) on spine. Corners mildly bumped, no visible wear. Binding is tight, pages clean and bright. Ex-convent library with lighter than usual markings: inkstamp on top edge, notations on copyright page, inconspicuous pocket remnants and address label on ffep. Dust jacket is bright and clean, unclipped, shows minimal wear but a 2" closed tear. A very sturdy and serviceable copy of a wonderful book that would enhance the life of any Catholic family. Methodically and lovingly leads the reader through the Bible, illuminating Bible history and relating prophecy to fulfilment and Old Testament to New. In raising my own children I found Mary Reed Newland's books to be uplifting, encouraging, and above all user-friendly. At time of listing we have at least one other title in stock.. First Edition.
