Boards rubbed at the edges, mild cloth fraying at the crown and heel, gilt lettering in "Harpers" rubbed, Bookplate on pastedown and end paper, name in ink on title page, acid paper has light discoloration/sweating bands along some of the the margins - not bad. A strong, straight, tight copy. Good Plus. Scarce.. 1st. Hard. Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 12mo.
