The top cover of the box has a 1/2" segment missing from the top right edge and the bottom right corner is split.

Oddly, there are two copies of the page folded sheet that has the text, a forward by Lloyd Goodrich (Director of the Whitney Museum of Art), one numbered 499/500, the other 500/500 lower right corner BOTH SIGNBD BY Wyeth. Covers to folio soiled, prints quite nice all around.

With a few exceptions they have never been exhibited or reproduced. The plates were made directly from the originals.

Size is approximately 13 x 17 inches. A mix of color and black/white reproductions all in pristine condition. All 12 plates with original dimensions. The 12 lithograph plate prints were created from Wyeth's original dry brush drawings. Pages are all thick illustration paper with little aging and any very minor wear consistent with age of collection. All 12 prints are in Near Fine condition with any wear being negligible and hardly noticeable. It comes in green linen/cloth folder with a black cloth spine that is also in Near Fine condition, save for some small touches of wear at the corners.
