Philadelphia: Sunshine Pub. Co., 1890. First edition. This antique hardcover book -- a scarce title -- is bound in mustard-colored cloth boards, with gilt lettering on the front and spine and etched color cover illustrations/decorations. Slight cover wear and soil, mostly at spine ends and edges; inner pages very clean and bright, binding tight. All page edges gilt. The book features nursery-rhyme style verse for children, but the true appeal of the book are the 20 color lithographs of young children, done in the style of Maud Humphrey -- truly beautiful. The book also features the first-ever book illustration by Jessie Wilcox Smith, found on Page 3. A true gem, very hard to find in this condition. 92 pages; approx. 10"x13". . First Edition. Hard Cover. Collectible-Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Illustrated.

The story of two creatures known as glimps, one who sees in color and one in b&w. This was a promotion for the early days of color television. Included with this copy is a letter from the American Television Society, unrelated to the book, about attending a talk about starting a television station, particularly WPIX. The letter is signed by then ATS president, Don McClure. Both the book and letter are an interesting glimpse (sorry, couldn't help it) at the early days of American Television history..
