A tight 7 1/2" by 5 1/4 " hardback with decorated blue cloth bevell edged covers and gilt backed titles on the spine and front cover. The cover edges have some colour rubbed off but are good otherwise with just the bottom corners with some threads free. All page edges are bright gilt . The paper covering the front hinge has some splits and the endpapers have some foxing. 363 pages + a 16 page publisher's listing at the rear of the book. The text has decoration at the beginning and end of the chapters and full page engravings, The text is crisp and clean with just a pale fox spot on a very few pages.. Decorated Cloth. Very Good/No Dustjacket. 12mo.
