London: Sotheby, 1974. Book. Illus. by Profuse, some folding and some in color. Volume 4 all in color. Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Title continued, "from the Henri Vever Collection". All four volumes from auctions in 1974, 1974, 1977 and 1997. Grey cloth with no edge wear, no prior owner marks, no stains or foxing. Dustjackets with the slightest hint of edgewear, protected in mylar sleeves. But the larger portion of his collection was hidden in his home from the Germans in WW Two, and did not reappear until the first Sotheby auction in 1974. Part 4, the auction of 1997 was a group of nearly 200 prints held back by the owners as the best part of the collection. Four… Read More
