An interpretation of hidden meaning/history in the Great Pyramid, drawing on secrets of the Holy Scriptures combined with an interpretation of the structure and design of the pyramid itself. GOOD+ condition. Uneven toning and fading to the covers. Minor soiling and staining. Light curling/scuffing along the extremities.

Gray cloth in clipped jacket (clipped at lower corner, perhaps indicating book club?). 302 pp. A transcription of communications transmitted by a psychic, "Betty" from other worlds of consciousness. These communications relay ways of expanding consciousness into higher planes. GOOD condition. Jacket toned, with a few minor stains. Heavy chipping, tearing and loss to the jacket spine and rear extremities. Light fading and edgewear to the book.

LACKING any wraps and frontis illustration that were issued. 55 pp. A single issue of this magazine, featuring a lengthy article on the history of witchcraft, discussing superstitions and beliefs from ancient times to the then present, and discussing different civilizations practices of it, including the Egyptians and the Druids. This account also discusses at some length, the accusations of witchcraft in the early colonies, especially Massachusetts, describing the persecution of Mary Parsons, Moll Pitcher and others accused of practicing witchcraft. Also included is continuation of an article on the first settlement of the United States, short accounts of useful inventions and improvements, etc. Samuel L. Knapp edited the Boston Gazette in 1824, and established this and the National Republican in the mid 1820's. He was noted for biographical writings (Appleton's Cyclopedia of American Biography). A work seeking to support the practice of Spiritualism and the communication with afterlife, citing the examples of mediums such as Kate Fox and Daniel Hume, among others, as well as discussing spirit photographs, etc. By British naturalist Alfred R. Wallace. GOOD condition. Moderate dampstaining to the wrappers. Some soiling and staining. Heavy chipping, tearing and creasing along the extremities. Minor soiling in the interior. Owner's gift inscription on the title page. Parts of two sentences underlined in red on page 11.

A work explaining Swedenborg's ideas on the biblical concept of New Jerusalem, and how those ideas could form the basis of new spiritual teachings, many of which would serve as the basic tenets of the New Church. Emanuel Swedenborg was a theologian and mystic, with some of his ideas touching on the occult. GOOD condition. Heavy darkening to the spine, with moderate scuffing along the extremities. Minor soiling. Moderate toning to the interior.

Side stapled zine format. 8 ½ by 11 inches. 28 pp. Cut and paste collage and illustrations throughout. Second issue of this zine using art, clip art and collage to muse on (in this issue) topics related to sex and magick, Aleister Crowley and Robert Anton Wilson style, although the links to both is subtle at best. GOOD+ condition. Top right corner of the front cover a bit curled. Left corner creased at the edge. Minor toning.

Dark brown cloth decorated in blind. 247 pp. A collection of writings by theologian and mystic, Emanuel Swedenborg, focusing on doctrines as taught by the New Church. GOOD condition. Extensive chipping and splitting to the cloth along the hinges, with some loss of the backstrip. Minor fading and scuffing. Light soiling. Some scuffing along the extremities. Moderate foxing to the endpapers, with scattered foxing and soiling throughout. Text block toned.

Dark brown pebbled cloth. 156 pp. An attempt to explain the existence of the afterlife, drawing on many biblical anecdotes, as well as studying the physiology of humans and animals, electro-magnetism, etc. A chapter on the phenomena of occult forces details magnetic forces and healing, mind-reading, clairvoyance and dreams, as well as witchcraft, in brief. Phenomenal evidence is also cited, including the witnessing of spirits. D.W. Hull and his perhaps better known brother, Moses Hull, edited Hull's Crucible in the 1870s, both being proponents of spiritualism as well as sex reform. GOOD condition, ex-church library. Small sticker on the spine, with several provenance/library pastedowns on the inside front cover. General fading, minor soiling and minor to moderate scuffing to the covers. A guide to astrology, this edition being published around 1897, that covers all aspects of predicting future outcomes of events by means of analyzing the planets. An index is included in the rear that alphabetizes various questions that can be answered by astrology. In GOOD condition. General uneven fading and darkening to the covers. Minor to moderate soiling. Some scuffing and bumping along the extremities. Interior solid with the front hinge just starting to crack, but still solid. General darkening to the pages. A section of pages in the middle have a slight diagonal crease at their upper corner.

London: Horizon, Publisher, 1944. Wraps. Good. Printed wraps. Single issue of this little magazine featuring an article on the trial of the British medium Helen Duncan, who was convicted of fraud. The article discusses her alleged use of regurgitation, and includes two photos of the medium during a séance. Also included is poetry by Louis MacNeice, Stephen Spender, etc. GOOD condition. General fading, minor to moderate soiling and toning to the wrappers. Several black smudges/stains present to the front cover, with heavy offsetting along the extremities. Minor curling and creasing along the edges.

Illustrations present, including many occult diagrams and talismans. All text in French. An occult work looking at good and bad luck, methods of predicting horoscopes, secrets and use of talismans and occult diagrams, palm reading, luck as predicted through writing, etc. Written by Gerard Encausse, a Spanish born occultist of the 19th and early 20th century, known for founding the Martinist Order, as well as being a member of the Hermetic Brotherhood of Light and Hermetic Brotherhood of the Golden Dawn. GOOD condition. Some soiling, darkening and minor spotting/staining to the covers. Some wrinkling. Moderate browning in the interior, with a few pages bearing chips in the fore edge.

A work of mysticism based on the Bible and Adam and Eve, tying teachings in the Bible regarding Adam, Eve and Jesus, in with the Great Pyramid in Egypt and the signs of the zodiac. GOOD+ condition. Minor soiling, general fading and edgewear. Small bookseller sticker on the first page.

No Place: No publisher. Pamphlet. Very Good. No publisher, place or date. Circa 1890s. 4 page pamphlet. A circular, issued by the Theosophical Society, discussing the principle of reincarnation and explaining its importance in the development and enlightenment of humanity throughout time. This appears to have been a circular issued, perhaps to the public, in an effort to broaden membership in the Theosophical Society, with information on the society on the last page. VERY GOOD. Minor fading and toning to the paper, with minor wrinkling, mostly along the extremities.

Bird's eye maple veneer over pine. Paper label present on the reverse. Manufacturer's address is 1306 N. Central Ave., with their factory and show rooms being at 1226-1228 N. Central Ave. According to the William Fuld website's history of various Ouija boards made by Fuld, this change of address was made during 1910. Two styles were made in the beginning of this move, one with two bars under the word Ouija, and one, circa 1911, with three bars under Ouija. This has three bars. Think of the occult history this has collected over 100 plus years! GOOD condition. Maple veneer peeling and cracking on the reverse, along with some rippling, presumably from water exposure at some point (or ghost tears).
