Elgin, Illinois: Cook, 1930. First Edition. College football. Owner’s name inside the front cover; very good in a dust jacket with minor chips, tears, and two interior tape mends. Elgin was renowned for its watch manufacturing, but not for publishing.

New York: American Sports Publishing, 1903-1930. Some are in wrappers; some bound either with or without wrappers; many with notes, mostly pencil, and various enclosures, printed and holograph. These were the property of player and coach (mostly at the University of Chicago) Amos Alonzo Stagg, and his name is embossed on many covers, and while we are unfamiliar with his writing, presumably many, if not most or all, of the notes are in his hand. This is an extensive collection, but evidently not complete with every rule book from every year, and there are some duplicates. The condition varies, as expected in publications intended for use on the playing field; generally very good.

No place of publication [Palo Alto]: Stanford University, 1927. First Edition. A good copy. The author is widely known as “Pop” Warner.

New York: Moffat, Yard, 1916. First Edition. While this copy has the bound-in colophon page for the limited issue, but this leaf is not filled in. However, this book has been warmly inscribed by the author to a relative of a well-known player of the era. Very good.

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1927. First Edition (presumably as this is the final title of this series listed on the copyright page). Fine in a very good dust jacket with minor interior tape mends.

Leominster, Massachusetts: Leominster Printing Co, n.d. [1934?]. First Edition. Inscribed by Little; Foreword by Grantland Rice; very good in a good, chipped dust jacket.

New York: Dodd, Mead, 1920. First Edition. Contemporary owner’s inscription; very good in a good, splitting dust jacket.

Columbus, Ohio: The Book Concern, n.d. [ca. 1930-1935]. First Edition (? presumably, as we find no other edition). Fine in a very lightly used dust jacket.
