Label on spine has been rubbed and lost a bit of the text. Label states: The Journal of Alton Turner Blackwood, which is not the actual title of the book. The book is bound in Belgium Flax paper boards and was issued without dust jacket or slipcase. Included is the novella Darkness Under the Sun, which is related to the current story. The complex tale involves serial killings decades ago, and follows the investigations of a detective (who survived the earlier killings), when similar murders begin occurring again. Signed by Koontz on limitation page.
