New York: Dodd, Mead & Company, 1882. 64pp. Off-white stiff wraps (boards), red cloth binding, red lettering and decoration, inside light green silk covered portfolio with pink silk ribbon ties, gilt lettered and gilt decoration. Cover and contents are clean and unworn, contents are mildly age-toned. Portfolio is lightly soiled and is faded along perimeters, silk ties are faded and one has a small tear. There are numerous chromolithographs and in-text sepia-tone illustrations. Text and music is in sepia. Book is in very well-preserved condition. . Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. Wear to spine ends and corners, spine and portions of covers darkened, rear cover partly stained. Contents toned, endpapers foxed, some offsetting of chromolithographs to opposite blank pages, not affecting any text, pencilled inscription on front free endpaper. Full page chromolithographs by Kronheim & Co. of London are clean, unblemished, and very bright. The interior of this book is well preserved and the binding is sound.. Hard Cover. Riker, 1851. 276pp. Marroon leather covers with elaborate gilt floral decoration to covers and spine. 13 hand-colored plates (including title page), most with tissue-guards, all edges gilt. Covers heavily worn along edges, spine is chipped at top and bottom, front cover is very loose and split along edge, but gilt ornamentation has only light wear. Text is age-toned and foxed, plates are age-toned and mostly unfoxed, presentation and date (January 25, 1852) on front free endpaper, 4cm tear to frontispiece margin and a strip of the front pastedown torn off. The 13 hand-colored plates are very beautiful.. Full-Leather. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Book is in very good condition with some light wear to corners and spine ends, cover is clean and gilt is bright. Front joint is tender and there is some very slight cracking of front hinge..
